Small Rant

:rant: The world is full of people that dont know how to read or communicate. Im not talking about spelling or grammar. As most know, I have a lot of parts for different makes,and a lot is for sale on 6 or 7 different web sites. I describe the parts and give part #'s. You should see some of the emails I get. The last few days have been rediculous, and now I need to vent. How much for.....(fill in the blank)? The price is listed in the ad.
what size is/are these? The size is listed in the ad. Or this one, "I'll take everything, how much?", that is all the email says. I have no idea what they are talking about, or which web site they are responding from. One guy wanted a starter before christmas, but didnt have the money, told him to get a hold of me after the new year when he had the money. He has offered me the same lowball offer(1/2 of asking price, part is new) 3 times, and I have told him no 3 times, got the same offer again today. WTF? Listed a part and what it would fit, very specific, I get 3 emails asking if it will fit .......Ah, no!

Oh well, if youre gonna try and sell stuff, you have to expect some of this stuff, it just seems the last couple of days have been more than normal.

Years of being in the hobby, the more projects, the more stuff you end up with. This recent batch of Ford stuff is a buddy's though. Been in his attic for 2 years, sold his car and all this stuff never made it on it. Now hes playin with a Jeep CJ that I put a 5.0EFI into.

Here's an example of the crap I had to deal with. Ihad a pair of wheels and slicks. Stated will not seperate slicks/wheels and will not ship.

First question:Will you ship?
Second question:Will you sell just the slicks.

I think they just dont bother to read, I had one guy that I had to return email 3 times to tell him something used and was for parts only. I still havent heard back from the guy who "wants it all" :dunno:

I was a kid when that all went down, was a trip. Whats weird is that his step son was in on it, and the cant prove it. Remember, there is no Mafia, and we'll kill you if you say there is. :D
