Blown Out!!!

Had a blow out in the Focus today on the way to work. I hit a huge pot hole and totally destroyed the inner side of the rim.

Called up Ford for a replacement and got a price of $230.00. Whatta freaking joke!!! I have to make some calls today to try and get a hookup on the price.

There's that place on 9 and Gratiot. Can't recall the name. Back in the day when I had the Tempo as my DD I had a blow out going to work in the D. New/used rim was like $40.

yeah right now the roads are a disaster..gotta love it that we pay the city to put salt on the roads to mess them up and then pay them again in the spring to fix them :mad:

Call the state and tell them where the pothole was....if it's older than 30 days then they will pay for the repairs.....just a little info for ya.

almost impossible to get money from the state for things like that..plus how are u gonna prove how long the pothole has been there??

I'm just relaying what I heard on the news 2 nights ago. Hell, call the problem solvers they don't have a problem pushing the state to pay.
