Well, after not even having the cover off the car since Nov. 1 I decided to install the Steeda Oil Seperator I got awhile back.

How long did you keep the car running for?

I've started and ran mine 2-3 times since I put her away. I just like to hear how she sounds. Everytime was no less than 25 minutes and the oil was definitely up to temp.

Nice job Chuch! My car has been put away since November and has been pulled apart since then. I need to get her back together and fired up already.

Cool but what does a oil seperater do?

The PCV valve located on the driver side valvecover allows unburnt oil back into the intake to be recycled (burnt off). This gums up your intake and lowers gas octane. The oil seperator seperates this atomized oil from the air and collects it so you elimate this from happening. You then simply discard this unburnt oil.

I had a breather but wasn't crazy about that oily smell.
This is a picture of my intake before installing the breather.....

Here's a pic after I had the lower P&P'd....it looks the same now as it did 8,000 miles ago. No more oil.
