Before and After Tsunami shots...

These photos are great because they have a before/after button that you can click as many times as you want before going on to the next photo. You can also click the photo itself to toggle the before/after.


The first four photos aren't really close enough to view the damage, but after that they really hit you with the severity of the disaster.

I think it's one of those things that you just can't comprehend unless your there to see it yourself......

The Discovery Channel had a couple of shows on yesterday about Tsunami's. There's this thing called the "Super Tsunami" that can only happen when a BIG land slide happens. Back in the 50 or 60's so much earth slide into the ocean that a (can't remember exactly) 500ft wave was formed and crashed into land. I think it was around Alaska or something. Luckily it hit where no one lived.
