Complete with the "Hot Rod" license plate out front...... Notice those snazzy chrome mirrors! No a/c on this car so there's plenty of room for that 383 sitting on the stand in the garage... :naughty: I'm thinking I may leave those wire hubcaps and skinny tires on after the engine is in just to keep it low profile...

I need a back bumper for this car if anyone knows of one laying around somewhere...

Very clean car, nice. Id try to keep the stealth look tires, but keep in mind they wont offer much traction if that 383 is puttin out some power. You could get a wider steel rim to mount a Drag Radial, and still use the wire cover to throw people off.

Strtracer - thanks for the welcome!

I'm not sure what the 383 is putting out, it was in an old pickup I bought and parted out - the guy had a huge stack of receipts, but the one for the engine didn't really specify what they did to it ( other than charge him $4000!) -It came with a performer intake and a Holley 3310 on top, the rockers appear stock, the cam is pretty grumpy - I'll be cracking it open in the next couple of weeks to see whats inside and freshen it a bit ( the receipts showed about 8k miles since the rebuild, and I'm certain they weren't "easy" miles!) Luckily, I don't have much into the engine and trans, so if there are any "surprises" I won't feel too bad about sinking some bucks into it to make it right.

JpMotorsports -
I sent a pm about the bumper - give me a yell if you've got one, the bumper is really the only bad part on the car, I'd like to get that taken care of.

Sorry I have taken so long I had a bumper from my freind who said he didnt need it and after I posted to you saying I had one he needed it for his T-Type. But I have two strong leads on another for you and should have something by the end of this week or next.

Sorry for the delay but I will find you one,
JpM

P.S www.laureneng.com (http://www.laureneng.com) has some awsome regal,T-Type, and GN body kits as well as other G-body kits if you want a different look. Good Luck on the project.

Thanks!

I spent all day saturday checking out yards, and though I did find half a dozen regals, they were all rusted to the windows, and the bumpers were worse than what I have.

That seems to be a common problem with those cars. Nice ride though! You gonna take it to the track next year?

Nice ride....I love them old G-Bodys. Get some dual 2.5" pipes and tuck em up under the bumper. Get some nice quiet mufflers for it, maybe some good turbo mufflers. Grandpa is the way to roll with that Regal....leave it looking JUST like that . Small cheap tach on the steering column, wire the shift light to the check engine bulb :D.
