I came accross a used T56 out a 1994 Camaro. The trans was rebuilt, installed, driven a couple miles, and locked up due to no fluid. (Oops)
My guess is that the bearings are all cooked. But my question is has anyone on here ever heard of anyone installing this trans into a 99+ mustang? What was involved if so? I am sure I am going to need to change the input and output shafts to mee the proper lengths and splining.
Already called D&D and they offer no conversion kits for this trans.

You can expect major damage inside that trans, although the bearings will be cooked, it is more likely that the gears have severe heat damage to them, and that is why the trans wont spin.
As far as installing it in a Mustang, its put together entirely wrong. Its case is designed to be mounter on an angle( tilted towards the driver), and the shifter location is wrong.
Best bet would be to see if its repairable at a reasonable cost, then trade it for the correct trans
