I've decided to sell my car. I've had it a while, I've got some ideas for other projects I'd rather work on, its time to move on. There is a full mod list with lots of info here:
www.geocities.com/speedracer628/Thunderbird.html

When I did the bushings last year all of the front control arms/ball joints were replaced. New end links went on with the sway bars. The rear subframe was dropped, new bushings put in, subframe and control arms painted. The tires on the link above are listed as Goodyears, those were replace by some Falken GR-Beta FK-451's this spring. The odometer is approaching 160k but obviously not much left on the car has that many miles on it. The engine is at about 110-115k, uses no oil. I put it in with 80k on it and had the valve covers and pan off and it was very clean inside. Anyone who has ever torn apart a 4.6L can tell you how little these things wear, I've pulled a part a couple higher mileage ones personally to find the cross hatch still perfectly visible in the cylinders and the bearings looking great.

Some current pictures here. If there is something you really want to see that isn't pictured, let me know and I'll get some pics. Or you can come see it sometime.

I'll include every thing I have sitting around for it, this includes a pair of 26 x 8 Goodyear slicks mounted on fan(turbine) wheels (both are lefts), a pair of PBR two piston calipers, a set of MSW OZ 17 x 8 wheels that I was planning on putting some auto x rubber on, and I may have a couple other things laying around. The cruise control is not connected but i have the parts for it and they would be included as well.

I'm asking $8000.

Wish I had the money I'd buy it. It would make a great summer driver/cruiser! Nice ride. What are you building next?

Yeah, as far as muscle cars go they are dirt cheap. Even the Talladegas that they made 750ish of and they have parts that only the 750 were made, the front fenders and some other front end pieces, no replacements were ever made at all, can be purchased in mint condtion for around 40,000. Compare that to a Daytona or Superbird which is a similar car from the era and you realize how cheap Torinos are.

Have you found a Torino yet?

I've been looking around a bit, but can't buy anything until this is gone. The worst thing is when I find one on e-bay, that always sucks because I know its out of the question.

Half the crap are people bidding on thier own stuff. I haven't bought anything off ebay in awhile because of that.
