I know that eyes are used for seeing things Mike. I was just confused on why vision (or lack there of) in one eye would make a particular job so difficult.

well, i had cancer when i was 9, and cause of radiation therapy i had as part of my treatment i no longer have tear ducts going to my left eye. i use eyedrops during the daytime and eye ointment at night to keep it moisterized. working around fiberglass, carbon fiber, other chemicals and in a dusty shop invironment was alright to begin, but as the winter came the weather got a lot drier and effected my eye alot. to the point where my eye was completly bloodshot. a few weeks ago i got an infection on my left eye and it hasnt healed with meds, so i left so i can take care of my eye. the dry area and the dust was just too much.
im lookin for a job at wayne state university doin something with the parking dept. they pay around $11 an hr. so it would be nice.
