Had a great time in Ubly! The weather there was good...hot, but dry at least. Ubly tech was so awesome (yeah!) and there was hardly anybody there ....we got to make pass after pass.

I just have to say you guys are awesome because all of you drove through heavy rain, flooding, and detours from flooded roads just to get there.

i had lots of fun. it was a tad far, but not tooo bad.
on the way back i filled up somewhere after driving like 50 miles on the gas light racing and doin 70+mph down m19. then stopped and filled up with some 89 octaine.. drove 80 miles on that. and only used a 1/4 tank of gas... hmmm.
but yeah. weather was decent. a bit hot and humid. which made me run slow. maybe nextime the weather will be cooler and i can run a good 17.1 with no interior

If anyone has video and pics please e-mail them to my yahoo acct. skoresky@yahoo.com If you need hosting let me know I have alot of empty space on motorcityoutlaws.

Thanks for a great day, my car did perform good, no major problems, and I blame the low track times on the track preperation. 60' time were horrible and I next time we can have more cars show so Ubly preps it better.

Thanks for a good time last night at Mike's, I had a blast.

On motor it went 10.71 @ 130, and on the bottle it went 9.60 @ 144. I was shaking the tire through 1st and 2nd gear so I think it should have gone a 40 with the right track prep.

It was alot of fun......I was little bummed at the time about my times until i realized all of the conditions or my junk ass car and the track and all the shit i had in my trunk. i ran a 15.6 at 89 mph. My car got red flagged cuz of a bad oil leak. I limped it home and i now gotta take the front of the motor apart

All in all good times though i wanna go again when i get the car back on the road :bna:

Ubly is the easiest track for you to get to.. The other tracks are all highway, which your car isn't very good for driving that far on. The only other one is Lapeer and its about as far, actually a little further than Ubly. And we all know Lapeer isn't called "The Dirtway" for nothin'

i need to go out to a track on a cold low humidity day. maybe i could pull a 17.1 out of my car. im sure i could. that 94 oct, and removed silencer overcame the weight from trunkliner, pass seat, and rear bench. and that was hotlapping. and before that when i ran in good conditions full interior, 89 oct and more weight was a 17.313. so i think its possible. maybe ill play with my timing a bit too. and im lookin at getting a P&P upper intake maybe a lower intake too. a bigger maf, and maybe some injectors with a bit of computer help. i want 16.8 on this motor.

High octane kills power in engines that don't require it. Also might wanna ice the intake next time if you're trying to squeeze a few .10ths out of it.

I ran a best of 14.5 in the GT and a 15.0 in the Lincoln. Not too bad for the two being bone stock automatics and considering the tracks weather and conditions.

Oh, and I shut down a few faster cars due to a better reaction time...that was fun! :slip:

I have that Malibu on vid, loud as shit slow as hell

I had a fun, albeit sweaty time. Mine was a couple tenths & couple mph off its norm, but thats due to not removing the sub, running 275's/heavy wheels up front, and it feeling as humid as a steam bath.
