Can anyone tell me the name of the street in Detroit where the big car companies would sometimes bring unannounced cars (late 60's very early 70's) late at night to run against the local guys? I remember the stories, but I can't remember the street name. Thanks in advance, it was a long time ago.

That was my dads stomping grounds. had a 70 torino gt with the scj motor option. sounded like a pretty cool time there.

My Dad used to run both places, 64 1/2 mustang and in the early 80's it was 72 pinto with a 302 (dual quads). I remember the Pinto, that car was silly fast. I wish I would have grown up in that era, I can imagine the good times and remember all the stories my Dad used to tell me.
