Last night after Mt. Clemens (it was a little lame last night) I headed home on Hall Rd. Well there was a big car show going on at the Ford dealership on Hall and Gratiot. So as I'm at the light I see I'm next to a 05 Mustang (V6) :( , an 05 GTO an 01 and 03 Cobra.
03 Cobra is an older guy and wants nothing to do with racing.
The 01 Cobra is a young kid on the cell phone that did a ricer flyby and apparently was bone stock. I wasn't about to waste gas on the V6....but I did want a piece of the GTO.
Dark windows and he never rolled them down. So anyway I keep egging him on (which I rarely do) and he finally hits it. Seems like a quick car. I tried and tried but he would not line up at the light or even get next to me....he just kept hitting it to show me how fast he was. :rolleyes: I even waited for him at the light to catch up to me when I was only 1 car ahead...nothing, just drives right by.
So I finally just layed into it, got a little sideways and took off. So he comes flying up on my rear end now. But again, wouldn't line them up. This was when I had enough.....a guy on on OLD motorcycle and him decided to race from 45mph and cut in and out of traffic up to about 90mph. WTF?
How fast our those new GTO's anyway?
This one seemed to be faster than what I would assume a stock one to be?
I hate when people are like that though....they want to cut in and out of traffic at 90mph instead of lining them up and racing :mad:
